Last week, I was having a conversation with my friend John (the brilliant writer behind this gem), and the topic of summer suits came up. Now the majority of us will need a suit in order to attend a wedding or two this season, but a quality lightweight piece can be worn many times over and is an important investment. I suggested John check out J.crew, and as luck would have it, their men’s page is all about suits for summer.
There are two options that the well dressed man can choose from in terms of fit, the Ludlow for slim, narrower builds and the Aldridge for a more classic, straight silhouette. Fabric choices range from herringbone to linen to seersucker for those wanting to go all out. I’d suggest a navy suit if it’s your first and possibly only suit investment, and a classic khaki for that perfect summer wedding choice.
Head over to the men’s suit shop and peruse their offerings.
