In the past year, we’ve seen a resurgence of men wearing wingtips, saddle shoes and oxfords. These aren’t your dad’s shoes anymore, and pairing them with slim fitting jeans and suits (sans socks of course), is a great way to complete a sharp outfit.
I walked into Aldo the other day (we both love Aldo, maybe a little too much), and while perusing the latest Spring offerings came across the Fondriest in Cognac. I have a few pairs of dress shoes but the loud wingtip detailing and rich brown color caught my eye. I had to have them.
Then like some sort of rabid crack addict, I put together an entire outfit in my head. Shoes, chinos, shirt, tie… the works. I whipped out my credit card and ran to H&M with Jordan to pick up the remaining pieces, which were featured in yesterday’s post.
My bank account is hurting but I personally feel great about my new investments.
